B.Tech in Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering

Specialization code: AEIE | Accredited by AICTE | Industry-aligned curriculum with focus on automation, sensors.

Program Overview

The B.Tech in Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (AEIE) is a four-year undergraduate program that blends electronics, measurement science, and control engineering. Students learn to design, develop, and maintain intelligent instruments and automated systems used in industries ranging from manufacturing and energy to healthcare and aerospace.

The core courses include transducer & measurement, industrial automation and control, the internet of things, and industry 4.0. Students learn the skills to manage operations, design and develop new control systems, test, maintain and modify existing systems, and work collaboratively with design and operation engineers in any industry.

  • Approved intake: 30 students per year
  • Eligibility: 10+2 with PCM (min 50%) + valid entrance score (JEE Main/ OJEE)
  • Duration: 4 years (8 semesters) with industrial training in 6th semester
