B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering

Specialization code: ECE | Accredited by AICTE | Cutting-edge curriculum in VLSI, Embedded Systems, IoT, and Communication Networks.

Program Overview

The B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) is a four-year undergraduate program that integrates core electronics, signal processing, communication systems, and embedded technologies. Students gain expertise in designing and developing hardware and software solutions for industries like telecommunications, consumer electronics, defense, and automotive.

The curriculum balances theoretical foundations with extensive laboratory work, industry projects, and internships. Specializations are offered in VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, and Wireless Communication from the sixth semester onward.

  • Approved intake: 60 students per year
  • Eligibility: 10,+2 with PCM (min 50%) + JEE Main / OJEE
  • Duration: 4 years (8 semesters) with mandatory industrial training

Faculty & Research Excellence

The ECE department has full-time faculty members, including PhD Hlders. Research areas include VLSI design, wireless sensor networks, 5G/6G communication, and biomedical signal processing.

Students actively participate in funded projects from industry partners. Kruttika Institute of Technical Education, established the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at KITE in 2010. The Department aims to create competitive systems using modern platforms and tools to meet real-world needs and future challenges in electronics and communications.
