The Training and placement is an integral part of the curriculum of a professionally managed engineering college so do at KITE whose ultimate objective is to facilitate the students to secure a job while graduating out. The Academy provides complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the department. It is also an important factor while assessing the goodwill and rating of a professional college. Accordingly KITE is putting best of its efforts in imparting training(generalized & specific) to the students by hiring & recruiting best of the trainers available not only in Odisha but from outside including foreign countries to prepare the students not during the fag end of the four years of course but right from the beginning. With the well managed training and placement department inside the college premises and stationed at various Industrial cities in India. Every year a number of top Multinational/Corporate Companies visit for Campus Recruitments. Training activities are also organized throughout the year in an effort to prepare students for the Campus selection programs. Internships
The main objective of this internship of technical students is to expose them in industrial environment, to let them know about modern technology, to develop project report writing process, to understand the psychology of workers, to develop team spirit, responsibility , ethics etc.. By undergoing internship, a student can develop the practical skill, can select his/ her career, can know the importance of time management & team spirit, can grade his/ her CV during interview for a job. One B.Tech. student to undergo internship during his/ her course i.e.- full time 1 month of training at the end of 1st. year, 2nd. Year & 3rd. year during summer vacation. However a student can undergo part time internship training for same hours during each semester ( subject to condition).
