Green Initiative & Clean Campus

Environmental stewardship is at the heart of NSS activities. Our “Vasundhara” project focuses on tree plantation, plastic-free campus drives, and waste management workshops. This year, we planted 1200+ indigenous saplings and conducted 8 cleanliness campaigns in nearby localities, promoting a sustainable ecosystem.

  • 3 urban forests developed
  • Zero-waste events + plastic ban advocacy
  • Renewable energy awareness in rural clusters

Rural Empowerment & Digital Literacy

Bridging the digital divide, our NSS volunteers conduct weekend workshops in neighboring villages teaching basic computer skills, financial literacy, and government scheme awareness. Through “Project Udaan”, we focus on adult literacy and career guidance for underprivileged students, making education accessible to all.

  • 250+ rural students trained annually
  • Health & hygiene awareness campaigns
  • Women entrepreneurship mentorship

Disaster Response & First Aid

Preparedness saves lives. Our NSS unit is trained in basic life support, first-aid, and emergency evacuation. During floods and cyclones, volunteers work closely with district authorities to provide relief material, shelter support, and medical aid. We also organize regular mock drills and awareness sessions on disaster risk reduction.

  • Rapid response teams (24/7 readiness)
  • Distributed 500+ relief kits last year
  • Certified first-aid training for 150+ members
